ONGOING NEED
Joy Blooms’ mission is to inspire joy and kindness through the practice of repurposing flowers to feed the fragile human spirit. In short, sharing joy with flowers! Their greatest needs are on Thursdays and Fridays, when they are picking up, prepping, and delivering flowers to designated sites (nursing homes, retirement facilities, etc.). For this reason, all volunteers must receive a background check and have a valid driver’s license.
Joy Blooms also accepts large flower donations from weddings, corporate parties, etc. They are a joyful bunch and benefit from their mission as much as the recipients of the flowers!
