Opportunities

CHH provides urgent care clinics for those who have no insurance and no doctor by way of volunteer doctors and nurses. Our location is in the Plymouth United Church of Christ at the corner of Main and Plymouth in Goshen. We need help to change out a window AC unit (will need to enlarge opening). 

We need additional long term volunteers that could help with sorting donations, pricing items and also to work during retail hours of the shop (2nd and 4th Fri/Sat of the month. Working at the Red Barn requires a 2 hour Volunteer Orientation.

LaCasa uses skilled AND unskilled volunteers to renovate houses and other buildings into safe, attractive, affordable housing. Our East Lincoln Crossroads initiative in Goshen is turning 5 vacant or dilapidated buildings into much-needed multifamily rental units. We also have volunteer needs in Elkhart. LaCasa staff will be available the whole time you are volunteering, and

You will be reading to a group of youth. If during Summer hours can be between 8am and 6pm. If during the school year it would be between 3:45 and 7:30pm. This opportunity is always available and appreciated. We would love to have someone agree to come in weekly.
